| a last rock win over magnusson this afternoon thrusts teamtomko into a tie for second place. we play scales tonight .. if we can beat him then it will put the pool in a good situation for tiebreakers if we need them later on. | ||
| Thursday, March 21, 2002 - After Draw 4 | ||
| things went as planned this afternoon as
teamtomko was violently slaughtered by khun. i have never beaten that team, and i hope i
never do. it's nice to have some things in life stay constant. i'm fairly sure that we
managed to get all the bad luck out of our system that game, which leaves only good luck
and feces inside of us. tomorrow will be an important day to move ahead in the rankings.
we play two very tough teams, one of which recently made headlines when the skip
skull-bashed a reporter who asked 'do you know how much the coffee is here?'. my laptop is still oozing puss so don't expect any pictures from my digicam until friday night |

| teamtomko duked it out with the north family curling team and sent them packing! however we still have another game today against the man who gave me my first loss this year, kurhan. we'll face kranh at 4pm and will need to curl at 233% in order to stand a chance. there were some team harmony issues this morning, but i'm sure we will all find our inner peace and stay focused on the game. | ||

| teamtomko mixed ate in style tonight at
the mixed provincial banquet. unfortunately my laptop is once again possessed by the
powers of evil and hairgel, and so none of the pictures i have taken can be added to the
website at this point. some highlights of the dinner include a guest cameo from jeff
stoughten, someone passing out due to the 'fresh' mca food, and getting to watch the
country teams drink. so far teamtomko is doing great, as you can see from the draw we are leading our pool as of tonight. we play the early draw tomorrow which means i get to eat an egg mcmuffin for breakfast! updates will be frequent this week so stay tuned.. now i think i'll drink myself into a dreamless sleep |

| i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but
teamtomko was humbled yet again as we begged for mercy at the feet of old man bili-doe.
his curling powers notwithstanding, he is an awesome beast with skills beyond that of a
mere man. the loss puts us in a tiebreaker situation for next tuesday. now for the good news, it seems carter rycroft has found a new fan.. check out the guestbook for more info. here is an artists rendition of the new fan, amanda. if this does not look like you then please send an update to rt AT teamtomko.com
