teamtomko mixed curb-stomped teamwickman last night in a hard fought 10 end battle royal. with the win, teamtomko mixed goes undefeated into the a-side final tomorrow night against the winner of harrision and mcewen. the ice at the rossmere is the best i've seen it, only 2 feet of negative ice is required on hits, and one foot for draws. i plan to spend the next few days placing curses on my competition and drinking a lot of rat milk.

my curling mentor proved that he is the best sportsman in the world by giving up the gold medal to the poor Norwegian team who needed it to sell for food money.
Although kevin has been cursed in international events, there is still no doubt that his career achievements are absolutely amazing. if i can have half the success he has, i would be thrilled to the point of unconsciousness. his last shot will always remind me to never be heavy on a final draw.. always give it to the sweepers (especially if they are as strong as the young carter laura-croft)

so the select is over and lukewarm got hot and won it all, and in terminator style! as i watched the final waiting for the bomb i planted to go off, i thought about how close teamtomko had come to almost being close to having a chance to be in the hunt for a select spot. i also thought about how the boner twins went bang-bang with the spot that we let them have.

hopefully teamtomko mixed will fare better at the zones in a few weeks, we had better, because that is my only chance to meet stephaine richard of pei at the nationals.

thank god i had the bye in the playdowns yesterday.. otherwise i wouldn't have won a game! teamtomko went bang-bang after being seeded number one. it's been said that only poor players blame the ice... well you can't get any more poor than bang-bang! the 21 second draw weight was just too much for my delicate hand to throw. since this was my last year of university i won't have a chance to redeem myself unless i go for a masters.. hmm, i could play in this thing for 10 more years!
