| TEAMTOMKO IS ON THE
MONEY LIST!! christmas came late for teamtomko, but after a stellar
performance featuring equal parts positencedence and victrocity against lowdon ($20) this
morning and mcewan ($30) tonight, teamtomko is $50 closer to our goal of $10,000.

the above pic was taken after winning our first game for money this season... we
humbly accept the cheque for $20 and think to the future, when we may receive cheques of
$25 or even more!!

| teamtomko played it's first
game in the fort rouge cashspiel on wednesday and lost yet again. i've decided to
change the 'win/loss' page to a 'loss' page because we haven't won a game in so very long.
however all the changes tonight... we play james 'wifebeater' kirkness and we will
win. i don't know how, but we will win this game. it's time to start the
positensity and represent. |

you have to admire kevin
martin and his crew, they just keep on giving! it was very gracious of martin to
allow stoughton to have the win in the semi-final of the first grand slam event ever for
curling. the draw that stoughton missed was worth more than 10 times the amount of
money we even had a chance to win this season.
because of the grand slam, curling is finally advancing to the point where the pro's like
us can actually make some coin playing the game we love. but i think the praise
should really go to rudy ramcheran (now known as carter rycroft after some clever
surgery). he was the one who put together (and subsequently ran away from) a major
cashspiel with media hype to bring curling into the same circle of other crooked
money-hungry sports like football, basketball, and of course, full-contact power chess.
teamtomko is registered in the zones and MCA as well as the fort rouge 'naked as sin'
cashspiel next weekend. we have been practicing and sacrificing a virgin goat on
each full moon so we will play like a solid team in the upcoming events. |

after passing out from being too anxious
watching martin's last rock, i was woken and told he made it. way to go! he
has been in 3 of the last 4 trials finals, and it'll break my heart to beat him in the
2006 trials.
in other news, a different teamtomko is being formed for a university curling league..
with any luck i will get to meet the beautiful stephaine richard of pei at the university
nationals in febuary. |
if you have been following our progress as a team, then you will know that burtnyk was
destined to make the finals of the trials because he played us earlier this year.
the teamtomko curse (click here for more info) kicked in at the last
second helped propel his team into the final.
this also means that denmark will make the finals of the olympic games because we played
ulric schmidt this year as well. watch out kevin!
Martin's the skip, the second is carter,
when he misses his shots, curling gets harder
by playing with kevin he's getting much smarter
he plays really well, and he's never a martyr
when they fly to a game, they go via charter
when it looks like they'll lose, he'll try to barter
i've heard people say that he wears a garter
he keeps his teeth clean so they won't get much tarter
if he had a girl there'd be no need to gaurd her |

women across the country are
sad this week because carter rycroft is in the trials final, which means that if he wins
he'll be out of the country for a while.
teamtomko lost their first league game this round due to what is being called 'the most
mentally challenged call ever' which happened in the 9th end and allowed the senior native
women we played to get 3 and take a one-point lead. scott the 'madman' was livid and
exploded due to rage overload... we had to shake due to the guts he left on the ice. |
